Well, before ideas of lustfully holding on to the fights that could have been in the wake of their cancellation, it seems the UFC 249 card will take place, some changes having been made.
Brett Okamoto took to Twitter, reporting that UFC 249 will go ahead May 9th - some significant revisions made to the card.
Okamoto's tweet made mention of a fight scheduled between Dominick Cruz and Henry Cejudo. That's now been changed to Henry Cejudo Vs Jose Aldo.
Tony Ferguson Vs Justin Gaethje is still set to head the bill, with Francis Ngannou vs Jairzinho Rozenstruick back on, and Greg Hardy and Fabricio Werdum finding opponents each to add to the heavyweight fights.
Amanda Nunes is tipped to be fighting Felecia Spencer, making for 3 UFC title weight bouts should current reigning champions accept the short-notice turn around.
